A boutique rebate partner, built on smarter energy.

When a household or business installs something like a heat-pump hot water system, a high-efficiency air conditioner or rooftop solar, they're entitled to a rebate under government energy programs. That value is delivered through tradeable certificates. We're an accredited provider and registered agent, which means we can create those certificates, lodge them with the regulator and sell them to the energy retailers required to buy them — that's where the value comes from.

In practice: the installer does the physical work, we handle all the paperwork and certificate creation, and the value flows back as a discount or payment to the customer. Without accreditation a business simply can't take part — it's the licence that lets us operate, and it takes strict compliance to hold.

Our mission is to make energy rebates simple, compliant and worthwhile — so more Australian homes upgrade to efficient energy, and installers get paid faster while we handle the rest. It's why we set out to be the rebate partner installers and homeowners trust first: the boutique name known for getting it right, every time.

Why us

Boutique & onshore

A small, dedicated team — not a call centre. When you need us, you reach a real person, every time.

Audit-grade compliance

Our founder spent 9 years auditing across KPMG and Grant Thornton — we know what compliance standards look like and apply that rigour to every single job.

Real-time doc review

We review your documentation as the job happens — catching issues on the spot, so you never have to return to site.

Paid within a week

Once all compliance documentation is received, we target payment within a week. No waiting, no guessing.

Trade + business expertise

A licensed electrician and an ex-Big-Four auditor under one roof — we speak your language and know the realities of running a trade business.

Easy-to-use software

A simple, purpose-built portal for all your VEU lodgements — and our installers are giving it great feedback.

What we do

Whether you're an installer or a homeowner, we manage the rebate from documentation to payment.

For installers

Rebate submission & certificate management

Bring us your jobs — we review documentation in real time, create and lodge certificates, and get you paid. So you can offer a discount and win more work, with real-time support from people who know the job.

For homeowners

Upgrade matched to a trusted installer

Want an upgrade and the rebate that comes with it? We connect you with a trusted installer from our network and manage the whole rebate process for you.

We handle rebates under two government programs — the Victorian Energy Upgrades (VEU) scheme and the federal Small-scale Renewable Energy Scheme (SRES). For a plain-English rundown of how each one works and how the certificates are calculated, see the FAQs.

What we're accredited for

We're a VEU Accredited Provider (A003134) and an SRES Registered Agent — so we manage both state and federal rebates end to end. Our accreditation covers water heating (heat-pump & solar, replacing electric or gas), high-efficiency air conditioning, commercial & non-residential lighting, induction cooktops, and commercial & industrial solar.

How the value reaches you

We create the certificates and pass your rebate value on straight away — as a discount to consumers or a payment to installers. We then lodge and sell the certificates on our own timeline, so you're never waiting on the market.

Compliance & your obligations

Accreditation isn't optional — without it, a business can't take part in these schemes at all. It's the licence that lets us create and lodge certificates, and holding it means meeting strict compliance and eligibility requirements. That's the rigour we bring to every claim, so your rebate holds up.

FAQs
How much does it cost?+
There's no upfront cost to have us handle your rebate — our fee comes out of the certificate value we create, and you receive the balance as a discount to consumers or a payment to installers. We always confirm exactly what you're entitled to before any work goes ahead.
How is my rebate calculated?+
Your rebate is delivered through certificates (VEECs for VEU, STCs for SRES), and the value varies from job to job. For VEU, the number of VEECs a job earns comes down to a few factors: building type (residential or commercial), climate zone (based on the installation postcode), scenario (the decommissioning and installation details), and the VEEC price (our current price offer). Send us the job details and we'll confirm the exact rebate value with a quick turnaround.
How long does it take?+
Once your job is complete and the documentation is in, we review it in real time and pass your rebate value on quickly — you don't have to wait for the certificates to be sold on the market.
Is my installation eligible for a rebate?+
If you're installing an energy-efficient upgrade — hot water, cooling, heating, solar, battery, induction cooktop or non-residential lighting — it's possible you're entitled to a rebate under the VEU (Victoria) or SRES (national) schemes. Get in touch and we'll confirm.
What areas do you service?+
We focus on Victoria for VEU upgrades, and support SRES-eligible solar, solar hot water and heat-pump rebates nationally.
How do I get started?+
Reach out via our contact form or give us a call. We'll confirm your entitlement, then guide you through what we need — most of the paperwork is handled by us.
Do you offer support?+
Yes — real, onshore support from people who know the job. You'll deal with a real person on the phone, in real time, not an offshore queue.
What does working with you look like?+
Working with us is simple. At quoting, you send us a few job details and we send back the rebate value — with a quick turnaround. Once the job's confirmed, we lock in the install date and job details. On installation day, we're in contact with your installers on site at each key milestone, checking in real time that the photos and other inputs are acceptable. After install, you send a few final items — and we handle the rebate from there. We give installers a full step-by-step workflow so nothing gets missed — see our Installer Workflow for Heating & Cooling (PDF) as an example.
Tell me more about the VEU program+
The Victorian Energy Upgrades (VEU) program is Victoria's state energy-efficiency scheme. Install an eligible upgrade — like a heat-pump hot water system or a high-efficiency air conditioner — and you're entitled to a rebate, delivered through Victorian Energy Efficiency Certificates (VEECs). How they're calculated: each VEEC represents one tonne of greenhouse gas avoided over the lifetime of the product installed — so higher-efficiency upgrades, in higher energy-use premises, earn more certificates. As an accredited provider, we create the certificates, lodge them with the Essential Services Commission, and sell them to the energy retailers legally required to buy them. Tell me more about the SRES program+
The Small-scale Renewable Energy Scheme (SRES) is the federal equivalent, run by the Clean Energy Regulator. Install an eligible renewable system — rooftop solar (under 100 kW), a solar water heater or an air-source heat pump — and you're entitled to Small-scale Technology Certificates (STCs). How they're calculated: each STC represents one megawatt hour of renewable electricity generated or displaced over a set deeming period; the number depends on system size, product type and location, since solar resources vary across Australia's climate zones. As a registered agent, you sign over your right to create the STCs to us; we create, lodge and sell them on your behalf, with the value passed back as an upfront discount. Read about the SRES →
What if I'm not happy — how do I make a complaint?+
We take every concern seriously and aim to resolve complaints fairly, usually within 20 business days. Get in touch with the details and we'll investigate and keep you updated. Full details are in our Customer Complaints Policy (PDF).
